It was nice because for the first two weekends in November we had away games and were able to have all our friends at our place to hang out and watch the games. We had a lot of fun and a lot of food. It was the perfect way to spend the weekends.
Steve took my dad to the BYU vs Air Force football game. Since my dad was still in a weelchair due to the surgery they got really good seats. They sat behind the BYU football team, about 10 rows up with one row empty in front of them so they could constantly see the field. They had a blast but were frozen by the end of the game. They were glad that I dropped them off and picked them up in a blasting hot car.
Me and my sister Katie had a fun day out we took our boys to Jump on It. They boys had so much fun. It took them a while to figure out that they could jump on anything and it was okay. But once they figured that out we were good.
We had a nice quiet Thanksgiving. My parents have a traditional Thanksgiving on Sunday so all their kids can make it and that way if we are out of town on Thursday they still got to spend the holiday with us. So we spent both that Sunday and Thursday with my parents. It was nice on Thursday my mom babysat Phoenix while my dad took me, Steve, and my little sisters to see the movie The Blind Side. It was such an amazing movie. We both highly recommend it for all to see it has so many good messages in it. Plus it has football so it is winner.
Then on Saturday we had our big game. It was time for the Holy War here in Utah. BYU vs UTAH. We were so excited, this is the best game to go to and it makes it even better that it was at our stadium. My dad and sister Katie came with us to the game. Once again my dad was in a wheelchair so he and my sister were down towards the bottom of the stadium. We were in our regular seats which were awesome!! We went into overtime which I think gave Steve major anxiety but in the end our cougars pulled it off. We won 26 to 23. Afterwords Steve rushed the field. As he was getting ready to exit the stadium he was held back by security. Confused he looked around only to notice he was standing next to BYU's head coach Bronco Mendenhall. Steve congratulated him on the win and was stoked he was that close to the coach. It was great!
Steve-He is great. He finally has all his strength back from fighting the swine flu. Which is great considering he is at the tail end of school. It has been hectic for him. He has had so many presentations to give and so much to do but he is amazing and been doing great through it all. He also was excited about the game and fact that he has bragging rights that his team won for the next year.
Phoenix- What a boy!! He is so amazing, he is starting to actually put words together so you can understand what he wants. He is in love with movies and asks to watch one every single day. He is getting ready to move into his big boy room and loves to be in there. Hopefully by Christmas he will be in there for good.
Whitney- Well I am at 29 weeks which means only 11 more to go. It is fun because you can see Reagen moving like crazy! I have just been enjoying life and getting projects done. We got our house all decorated for Christmas and now I am working on some baby blankets for Reagen. I was excited because I finally got Reagen's room all painted and now I am just getting ready to decorate it. I will post pictures once it is all finished.
