Well January was a relatively calm month for us due to a ton of sickness. Not only did the flu graciously invade our home and make everyone of us sick, we then had colds, strep and teething. So life was super quiet other than a couple fun events.
We started off great with New Years Eve. I took all 3 kiddos to Classic Skating. They have a huge skating rink, a jungle gym, bounce houses, laser tag, and an arena where you shoot foam balls at people. The kids had so much fun! Reagan loved trying out her new roller skates she got at Christmas time. Phoenix loved scootering around and running like crazy. Kaylin was more or less way overwhelmed and was very content to hang on my hips or to sit in her stroller. At 4 pm they had a balloon drop where the balloons had prizes in them. The kids didn't get any prizes but said they had so much fun. But boy were we all exhausted after that. Our entire household was in bed and asleep by 8 pm.

Kaylin has officially learned how to climb up into Reagan's bed and often wants to sleep. Reagan totally loves this and hates when we take sister out to sleep in her own bed. I am so glad these two love each other so much.

Phoenix had his 100th day in school. To celebrate they all dressed like they were 100 years old. Phoenix insisted on my giving him a mustache because that is what old people have on their face, according to him. I think he looked awesome!
We were also lucky because we all saw a lot of movies this month. First me and Steve went to go see Into the Woods (I LOVED IT!), then I went and saw Meet the Mormons with the Relief Society, then I took the kids to go see Paddington. We loved going and seeing all these movies.
This has been a great month temperature wise. We have had a ton of 60-70 degree days. SO when we do we go out for a good walk to a park. There we will play for hours just because it feels so good to get out and burn off some energy.
Steve- He is always super busy at his work. But this month he totally got rewarded with profit sharing. It definitely went a long ways and was able to help us get some items we had been wanting for a while. We were able to finish paying off school loans, get new couches, and get some fun things for our home. He has also enjoyed a couple boy nights hanging out with my brother in laws.
Whitney- Since mostly everyone was sick I enjoyed quite a few days of just hanging out in pajamas while wiping noses, giving medicine and watching movies to keep the kids down and resting. But I also got to enjoy a great shopping trip with my mom for my birthday. We met up with my sisters later that night.
Phoenix- He has become quite the book collector, because he reads so quickly and so much we are constantly buying new books adding to his collection. As usual he loves to build with Lego's. He recently took all his sets apart and loves creating new ways to rebuild things.
Reagan- This poor girl ended up not only getting the flu, but on top getting and upper respiratory infection and Strep. She was miserable. But thanks to some medicine she was back to her happy self as usual. She was glad to be going back to preschool.
Kaylin- This girl got her molars this month! Unlike her other teeth that took forever to finally break through these only took a day. She loved that we could finally go back to the parks and play. She loves the swing and gets really upset when I take her out so we can head back home. I think she would swing all day long if I let her.
