April

Well as you can see it was a very busy month in April for us.... We were able to go to BYU Spring Game!! It was so much fun, especially since we got to take Phoenix to his first ever BYU football game. That and we are excited that it is almost football season again. We make the comment ever spring game how much we miss football. So it was to say the least AWESOME!!

Phoenix is doing great. He is now 9 months old.... I still can't beleive that he has been with us for that long. It is amazing how quickly he is growing up. He hasn't gotten anymore teeth lately, he is just sticking with four on top and two on bottom. He is crawling all over the place, which keeps us going at a pretty fast pace. He loves to stand up on things and try and steady himself. He is getting closer and closer ever day to standing. The walking thing doens't really exsist to much. He will do it if we hold his hands and encourage but he is not to interested yet. Yet being the key word. He also has had really long blonde hair. Long enough that we had to cut his hair. He liked it at the beginning but things turned around quickly. Half way through he decided he didn't really like this. But then a good bath and daddy fixed all of that. So here are the before, during and after pictures.



Steve is doing really good. He went to UVSC this last semester and enjoyed it. He was so happy to be back in school. He said it felt really good to be learning and studying again. He ended up doing really good his final grades are A, A-, A-, and B+. So we were really excited about that. So now he is taking a break for Spring semester and is hoping to start up at BYU this summer, and if not this summer semester it will be Fall for sure. He is excited that he is going to be back at BYU. He has been keeping really busy mowing lawns this spring/summer. He was able to buy his first lawn mower and after doing so admitted I feel old. So that was fun. We were also excited to find out that we are going to be moving. That is the reasong he is mowing lawns. We are moving into a three bedroom, one bathroom, one office house. We were able to work it out with the rental company to mow 11 lawns once a week and it will pay for our rent for one whole year. If we do a good job they may keep us on as long as we live there. So that has been super exciting for us. We are sad to leave our apartment because we put so much of us into it. We painted the whole place and did alot of repairs. But we look forward to moving forward in life and to being into a house. That is exciting.
Well if you couldn't tell already it has been a very busy month with lots of good news and good things happening in our lifes. I have just been keeping busy packing up our house. It is starting to look very empty around here. It is weird taking down all the things we have and seeing new things appear. We bought a new dishwasher, our new place didn't have one and we wanted one so we decided to buy one. Now we are looking forward to buying new furniture for our new home. We decided we are going to do it slowly.... I hope!!! I was lucky enough to go and see my best friend Shannon Taylor graduate from BYU. It was so much fun. I had both boys which you would think would be extremely hard. Except for that all of Shannon's family played with the boys the whole time we were at graduation. Although I did decide after pushing a double stroller up the winding bridges that connect to the marriott center was not fun!! But I decided it is a good work out for me. I am loving that spring is here that way I can get out and do things with the boys outside of the home. It has been nice!!! Well I hope you enjoyed the most recent update!!
