JUNE!!

Well another month has come and gone. It is now time for the monthly update. This month was full of fun and exciting things. It all started with a trip up to Preston Idaho. It was another family reunion and it was lots of fun. Phoenix loved to play with his older cousin Derek. He loved to just play with him. He of course loved all his other cousins as well!! It was fun to have just a relaxing weekend away and to be able to enjoy NOTHING!! We loved it.

Soon after the reunion we were off to a night away. Me and Steve were blessed to receive a free night at the anniversary inn. Phoenix got to spend a night with his grandparents and had a blast. We were put in the room called Neptunes Cave. It was way fun to go to. Although the Octopus above our bed kind of freaked us out. So we decided maybe it would be less scary if we gave it a funny name. So the octopus became Leslie. It was huge!!

Then the next week were off to the rodeo. It was our first rodeo since having Phoenix and he loved it. He was so intrigued by all of the animals and everything going on around him. We have never gotten to sit that still for 4 hours and he did not want to move. It was a lot of fun!!

Phoenix is doing great. He is growing up so quickly. We can not believe that in one month he will be one year old. We are trying to help teach him how to walk. He has a little walker that he loves to run up and down the halls with. He will now stand on his own. He is not consistent or standing a lot. But it is very amazing to see when he does stand. We are not that far o
ff from walking. Once he gets it down then we are in trouble. He loves to give kisses. If you ask him for a kiss on the cheek he is very good about giving one. He tries to mimic the MUAH sound you make with a kiss to. It is adorable. Phoenix is also excited to have a new cousin to play with. Although he is not quite sure what to make of his new cousin, Colotn Spencer Pranger, he is to little to have any fun with. He is more or less a little bit afraid to be near him.

Steve is loving life. He has been super busy doing a lot of work. We recently had our lawns hydro seeded. This meant that instead of mowing lawns we were in charge of watering them three times a day. Then gradually we cut down on the watering. Now we are all done watering and back to mowing but for the whole month of June we kept busy every three hours going and doing waters. He has
also picked up odd jobs for my mom working on the homes. He has been setting up watering, planting flowers, hanging curtains and blinds and some yard clean up. He was very sad earlier this month to learn that his good friend, Scott Keenan, mom had passed away very suddenly. He has been a great comfort and friend to him. They have talked quite a bit and have really been there as friends. We are just grateful to have the church and to have the knowledge that we have of eternal families. Steve has been loving his seven peaks pass and we go at least once a week if not more. He is getting very tan and getting into a lot of shape by swimming once again.

I have been doing really good. I have also been very busy helping with watering the lawns as well. In addition to that I have a brand new nephew. My brother and his beautiful wife delivered their baby boy on June 27th at 7:22 pm he weighs 7 lbs 13 oz 19" long. They delivered him c-section due to him being breached. So I have loved being so close the hospital to go and hold him. I have gotten to hold him every day and yet am so amazed at how light he is compared to Phoenix. They named his Colton Spencer Pranger and it fits him perfectly. I have just been really busy chasing Phoenix down and being able to enjoy a summer with him. We are now gearing up for his first birthday and all those plans keep me entertained and busy. So that is the update for now. And we will catch you up once again next month!!
