Well they don't call it March Madness for nothing. Just kidding actually this month has be full of fun low key activities. We started off with Steve's birthday. It started off with us surprising Steve at school with a bouquet of balloons. Next was dinner, he had been wanting to go out to Red Lobster for quite a while. So my thought was why not bring him Red Lobster. He had mention he wanted to try scallops and he was craving Lobster. So I cooked him a feast, he had steak, potatoes, lobster tail, and scallops. As he was getting home I thought it would be fun to have him search the house for all his gifts. We tied string to several rooms throughout the house and he went in each room to find all 4 of his wii games. They had been games he had wanted since we got the wii. He was quite excited.

Now if you don't remember we got married the day after Steve's birthday. So we kept it pretty low key. We figured he has school, we have a baby lets stay in and be family. After all it is because we got married that we have our cute little family. Steve bought me a gift card for I tunes which is great since I LOVE MUSIC. I also got a book I've been wanting to read. He got his barbecue set. He has been wanting one since we got a grill in December. I was also to thrilled to get three red roses. One for each year we have been married.

Steve loves to build things with Phoenix. It is one of their favorite things to do. As you can see he built a mask for Phoenix. Phoenix also loves his buddy. We get together with some friends for dinner group on Sundays and Phoenix loves his buddy John. He thinks its fun to have someone small to play with. Although I think his daddy is his favorite buddy.

Man we were grateful for warm weather. One day we were able to put shorts on Phoenix and actually go outside. Of course the next day it snowed! But while outside we have been putting in a bigger garden area. We have also put three different posts in our backyard to put our hammock on and our swing on. We wanted it all moved to the backyard because it is fenced, more private and Phoenix isn't tempted to run into the street. We will post the pictures of it when it is finished.

Phoenix loves cousin days. We get all the cousins together and go play. We went to Jump On It. It is filled with trampolines, blow up jumpers and lots of fun things. They were having a blast going up and down the slides and jumping on the tramps together.


Steve-
He is super busy. Now that it is the end of March he can finally see the end of the semester coming. He only has a couple more weeks and he is doing great. Of course right after that he starts up for Spring semester. We are taking summer semester off so he can get a break and we can do fun things. He is excited that it is warming up so that he can get some flag football games going. He loves the warm weather and loves to be outside, especially if he can grill.

Whitney-
I am loving spring. It has been nice with warmer weather finally coming our way ever now and again. We were once again hired to do some work around our neighborhood for our Landlords. We are excited this year we will only be doing spring and fall clean up. So we won't have to be mowing lawns all summer but will be able to save a lot of money due to decreased rent for the work we do. I love being able to garden and have gotten mine started. We started the seeds inside. We got a lot of seeds from my mom and went and got some of our own as well. If all goes well we will have tomatoes, jalapenos, pumpkins, zuchini, cantalope, cucumbers all this summer.

Phoenix-
He is just an amazing little boy. He has been working on learning words. Every day he brings his dad a book and wants to look at it with him while figuring out new words. He is getting more curious by the day. He loves to figure out how things work. He is also getting into the accident prone stage. Mostly it is falling and tripping and scrapping up his hands. Poor little guy but he is learning how to slow down and take his time so he doens't fall. He also loves to dance and below is an example of him dancing. We think it is super cute.


Okay here are a few movies and a description of what is going on.

One of our favorite games on the wii is Raymon raving rabbits. Our friends have the most current one and game over for a night of fun. Well the video will tell you how much fun it is.
