November 2010

Well as I sit here pondering November it seems like we did a lot but at the same time we did a whole lot of nothing. Since me and Steve were hired to do leaf removal we kept pretty busy doing that. But we did manage to have some fun too.
Here is Reagan all dressed up before church. She looked so cute and was happy so like any mom I quickly grabbed my camera to capture the cutie pie.

Now as you can tell Reagan is not so happy in this picture. Want to know why..... well lets start with the preview to the answer. She started to run a fever, have a runny nose, and grab at her mouth all the time. If you guessed that she is teething you would be correct. We spend many of days just snuggling and holding her. Which is fine by us. She got two bottom teeth just days apart from each other. Right now she is currently cutting her third and fourth teeth. All on the bottom. She looks so cute with her teeth when she is smiling.

My mom and I went out shopping after Halloween for some clothes for the kids. We saw these awesome halloween outfits that are now used as Reagan's pajamas. Phoenix loves to choose out what animal she is going to be. We have a cat, a lion and a dog outfit. She loves putting them on but dislikes it when her brother puts the hood up. It most often covers her eyes so she can't see that is why she dislikes the hood.

Phoenix loves having his picture taken. He asked me one night at dinner if I would take his picture. What a cute boy.

Well Thanksgiving was upon us. We were definitely ready to have Steve home for a four day weekend and to have some good grub. We headed up to my parents house. Reagan thouroughly enjoyed her first Thanksgiving meal. Phoenix loved playing with everyone and finding all the games. He kept asking to play them over and over again. After we ate dinner we all headed out to see the movie Despicable Me. It is very cute and Phoenix loved going with his family. He is so good to sit and watch movies now that he is older. Reagan on the other hand wanted to play so we stood in the back and played most of the time.

Whenever we have a new box of diapers Phoenix loves it. It becomes his cage where he is a tiger. He will put his food (toys, drink, crayons, etc) in it and play with it for hours on end. It is fun to see his creativity.

The other thing we do a lot in our house hold is dance. Although Steve says he is not a good dancer I think he is pretty awesome. The kids always beg to dance with their dad.

Steve-Well he is writing a lot and researching a lot for his Project. If you don't know what that is about see our previous post. He is glad that we are officially done with leaf removal so he can spend more time indoors with us. At his work they got some new doctors so now he is on the other side of his clinic still doing his job but has a lot more responsibilities. It keeps him busier which is good.
Whitney- I am loving the holiday season. It has been fun putting up decorations and telling fun stories to the kids. During this season I always make a ton of beanies for the hospital. It keeps me busy and it gives me an opportunity to do some service. There are always a ton of kids at the hospital at this time with no hat to keep their head warm. It is nice to be able to take Phoenix with me to drop off the hats to the hospital so he can learn to serve too.
Phoenix- He is in preschool, I mean actual preschool. He goes twice a week for a couple hours. He loves to go and ask me everyday if it is his preschool day. He is such a good boy and is learning to sing more in primary. So whenever we are in the car and Reagan is crying we ask him to sing her a song. When he does she always stops crying and laughs. I don't know because he doesn't remember all the words or because of how sweet he is to her. Either way I love it.
Reagan- Well as you read she is teething. Which is super fun as you can imagine. She now hates baby food and would rather eat regular food cut up really really small for her. She is almost ten months old which seems weird. She still seems so little. She is pulling herself up on couches and our entertainment center. She loves to try and walk, she might be an early walker we will have to see. She is always wanting to play with Phoenix. If he is at preschool I often find her crawling to Phoenix's room onto his bed (it is on the floor because he likes to jump on it) and sit there waiting for her big brother to appear. She is super cute that way.
