March was a very busy but yet a very fun month for us all! We started off the month with a belated birthday celebration. For Reagan's birthday we got her tickets so me and her could go to Disney On Ice. It was all princesses and we couldn't have been more excited. She got a brand new Cinderella doll and a princess crown. She was smiling the entire time. She kept saying she needed to go down on the ice to meet the princesses. It was a great date night for us. Since us girls were out having fun the boys decided to go have fun too. They went out shopping at different toy shops and went to go get ice cream. They had such a good time as well.
The kids love to dress up. I am finding them constantly changing their clothes into something else. I am constantly picking up clothes from them dressing up. But it is super cute! We also enjoyed some much needed park time. I love that there is a park around the corner from our home. We are constantly waiting for a nice warm sunny day to head out and play.
We also got to celebrate Steve's birthday. We were lucky enough to have Steve's sisters Kelly come out to watch our kids so we could go out to dinner and just enjoy some time alone. We had planned to party hard the next week so we were okay with it being low key. The next day was our anniversary. We both just needed a fun relaxing day with our kids. So we played several games. Made a delicious dinner and yummy dessert. It was just the way we wanted it.
For the Steve's birthday he had really wanted to party it up at Provo Beach Resort. They have an indoor flow rider, mini croquet, bowling, play gym, golf simulators, ropes course, ice cream. It is so fun. So the girls took the kids to go and play in the gym while the boys enjoyed golfing. We then got a delicious ice cream cake and ate until we were super full!
Reagan loves to get all dolled up for church. She especially loves it when she gets curls put in her hair. She is such a cutie!
Reagan has also loved when Phoenix gets home from school. She will wake up from her nap and goes to look for the school bus out the window. When she sees that it has come she will open up the front door to welcome brother home. Phoenix embraces her with a huge hug and says how he has missed her. Then off they go to play! It just melts my heart.
We also got to enjoy going down to my parents for Easter weekend. They always do a night time Easter egg hunt. I highly recommend that if you are far away and can't join us that you start this up. What you do is tell each hunter they need to bring one bag of candy and a prize. You throw all the candy out and then one plastic egg that is numbered (which matches a prize number). Then they get out their flashlights and search for the candy and one egg. It is such a fun tradition!! That night we had my mom let us tell us the gender of baby number 3. What she did is me and Steve had to face back to back. They gave us a piece of gum that we had to chew. Once we blew a big enough bubble we turned to see the color of the gum. It was pink gum..... which means baby#3 is a GIRL!!
It was super cute!! Thanks mom!
The next day we went to BYU to do their Easter egg hunt and to go to the spring game. It was fun cause we were able to meet up with a couple really good friends, Rob and Ashley. The kiddos ended up getting super hot so the girls took off with the kids and the boys stayed to watch the spring game.
Reagan loves to just cuddle with her Papa. Every time we are down at my parents place this is how I usually find her. All cuddled up enjoying watching a princess movie with her Papa!
Steve-Well he is doing really good. He is finally fully switched over to being the supervisor over customer service. He is loving all the challenging work it has brought him. It keeps him busy and he loves all the progress and good changes he has brought there. His work is also very impressed and happy with him too. It has also been a busy month for both of us. We are in the process of buying a house. So we spend a lot of time looking at houses. Which between a kid at school, a kid at home, a kid on the way, work and life it keeps us BUSY!!
Whitney- I totally had a feeling from the very beginning the baby #3 was a girl. So I was very pleased when it actually was what I thought. This pregnancy was to much like Reagan's and not a lot like Phoenix's. Now I am just staying busy getting the little baby things that we will need. I am glad I am finally getting out of the nautious phase of the pregnancy but now have wicked acid. All I have to say is I am really grateful for medicine that helps me a lot!
Phoenix- He is doing so good! We just got his report card from school and he is thriving. He is now learning math. He got 100% on a practice test that was used to see where the kids are and what they need to learn. He is way advance compared to most kids in math. But he is still a little slow on reading. Although he is super close, I think its just a matter of time. But he can sound out most words. He just doesn't want to sit still long enough to read a whole book. Silly boy.
Reagan- Can we say DIVA?? Lately she has been on a kick that if she doesn't want to do something she will either say she is sick and she can't or lay on the ground saying how its too hard. We have learned to wait it out rather than give into her. She also is just a giber gaber. She loves to talk to everyone about how she is a princess and what princesses she loves. It puts a smile on our face to watch peoples reactions to her.
Here is a video of Disney on Ice. It was pretty awesome!
